KATSU and DestroyRebuild have been consistently placing their mark across the City and around the world for over ten years. The two graffiti writers iconic styles and imagery have become a common sight in NYC through their ever-increasing usage of new forms of media. In their first collaborative art exhibition, End The Planet explores the growing unbalance in the world through a remarkable series of layered paintings.
End The Planet investigates man’s constant deterioration of Earth and Species. Through man made crisis and catastrophes, KATSU and DestroyRebuild interpret the effects of human created problems such as pollution, world hunger, nuclear warfare and the overconsumption of natural resources.
Using an array of materials and techniques; graffiti gesture, Google image download and silk screening, this new series of collaborative artwork expresses a need for awareness.
